New episodes of Flash season 3 return tomorrow and Savitar is confirmed to make his full debut in the next episode titled "Shade" which is named after the shadowy super villain fought by Barry in the comics who is also yet to reveal himself in this episode while most of the focus has been heavily centered on Wally. And now because CW is making Savitar be done with CGI and from recent set photos of him so far, Robert Maillet is the most heavily speculated actor fit for the role and now to explain the obvious.
Robert Maillet has been known as a former wrestler who is also known for co-starring with Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Homes 2009. As one of the very few celebrity individuals over 7 feet tall he has also played characters in shows and films through CGI and since there hasn't been doing much shooting on filming any scenes on any upcoming films, he's very much likely the actor CW has secretly cast on portraying Savitar, the main antagonist in Flash season 3 as the person portraying the villain with CGI was shown right below in one of the most recent set pics that were released days ago
This first pic is Savitar holding Iris hostage and from the next one below
You can see just how tall the actor in the CGI suit is compared to Grant and Candice's height individually and now for what the fate of Iris would be if this were to happen in the mid season 3 finale
Seeing that Iris in this photo appears how should we say it?
lifeless
As heart "wrenching" as this would be, it looks like the death of Iris West is about to come soon if Barry doesn't catch her before reaching the ground and if she does die, this could be another huge turning point for Barry and everyone else. Whether Savitar is going to kill Iris just to make Barry get stronger or if it's to punish him and Cisco for not letting Caitlin Snow turn to the dark side as Killer Frost to betray them (while her transformation as Killer Frost is yet to be confirmed perminant) or for something else Barry is about to do to aggravate the Dark Master of the Speedforce, we will find out once it happens
Now here some speculation to why Robert Maillet is the man in the black CGI suit on the set in the photos as well as his character's grip on the Rival before he killed him
This photo above supports the theory that Robert Maillet is the actor wearing the CGI suit because he's tall, his muscular posture is average which would explain the looks of the arm that grab Edward Clariss with such a tight grip and sure enough, whether Maillet's version of the character will be just as shown in the picture in the bottom left corner with a different color scheme or if he is a creature, well I guess we'll find out tomorrow
as well as seeing if Maillet is cast as Savitar or not.
All that remains is whether Savitar is from a different Earth or not since his origin is confirmed to be different meaning that his longitivity will be more than a few centuries old like the Mandarin from the Invincible Iron Man 2007 film and the Silver Banshee from Smallville but sure enough he is to be in one of the Earths that Barry has been to so far and it might be on one of the Earths the particle excellorator explosion didn't go off on but here is a picture to that should hint which of the 4 main Earth's that the Savitar that Barry is about to confront might be from
For now we can wait and see if more updates show up before the speculation in this article becomes true or not that Robert Maillet is the actor playing Savitar and please no supporting CW's desires of leaving the name of any earths in the multiverse controversal because controversy stirs up tensions, not just for glory but once Savitar appears,
Barry had better be ready once he comes face with the Master of the Speedforce who is sure to be an even much greater threat than his arch enemy Hunter Zolomon aka Zoom from season 2 who is yet to be confirmed on returning for season 4 as the main villain known as the Black Flash as well so that he can finally get Barry to start killing some of the worst criminals and terrorists without being able to hesitate over any regrets.
